  • Hey all, over the last couple of months I have been doing much experimenting with codeine and various ways to potentiate it and drugs which synergise well with it. There was a thread recently but I feel it took a turn more towards tripping on DXM and antihistamines.

Codeine is a pro-drug converted into morphine in the liver by CYP2D6, an enzyme of the CYP450 system. This process is called O-demethylation. Approximately 7% of the Caucasian population are CYP2D6 poor metabolizers, meaning

  • A great deal of research has led me to conclude that Desoxyn (dextromethamphetamine) is, indeed, more likely to cause neurotoxicity at prescribed doses than other amphetamines.

Technically, Dexedrine (dextroamphetamine) is the amphetamine with the lowest risk of neurotoxicity. Why? Because it induces less Norepinephrine agonism than Adderall (amphetamine/dextroamphetamine mixed salts) and less Serotonin antagonism than Desoxyn. Dopamine agonism does not seem to be nearly as harmful. Ou

Anyways, I am interested in what the effect would be in combining the two, as I am aware that they activate different mechanisms in the brain in order to primarily effect dopamine.

As I understand it, amphetamines such as Adderall basically work by releasing more dopamine into the synapse so more dopamine receptor cells can be activated

    Introduction
Caffeine is a xanthine alkaloid with stimulant properties. It is used to elevate mood, increase energy, and block fatigue. It is both safer and far less euphoric than stronger stimulants like amphetamine and cocaine. Tolerance to it can be built extremely rapidly.

Caffeine is the most widely consumed psychoactive drug in the world.

I was inspired to make a thread about this after reading some of Resorcinol's discussion on amphetamines and other psycostimulants that are often used for treatment of ADHD.

I have never attempted to use an amphetamine for the purposes of recreation. This is not a concept that makes sense in my mind because I've always felt the

So everybody talks about potentiators focusing on what to do to lengthen and increase their high, but what keeps you from getting high or shortens duration? Taking your pill / dose right after you eat, or right before, drinking milk, ice-cream, certain medications, or even your mental state (depression, anger...). The reason I ask is that I went wakeboarding the other day and the water was sooooo cold that as soon as I hit the water my high was gone faster than my dealers stash on my payday.

  • So what's everyone's favorite opiate potentiator? Mine is phenergen, secondly soma, then benzos coming in third place, with alcohol being never, I had a friend who recently died doing just opies and alcohol, and he wasn't even a regular user, just a pain patient, so he took low dose opies and just had a few beers, but still managed to die.

  • Hey i have heard the rumor and read it enough times to think it works, plus i have tried it with some pretty good success... My question is how much should i drink and should i drink it before popping my opiate pills/benzos or should i drink it after or what? How well do u guys think grapefruit works at potentiating: 1.) OxyCodone 2.) Hydrocodone 3.) Valiums 4.) Xanax.... ????:confused:

  • Hey..

So I ordered some various kratom crap online, and have yet to feel alot of effects from sucking on the leaf, trying to drink the nasty tea, smoking some in a j...Well, I decided to try and smoke kratom extract off foil...

and, i feel it. lightly, but it's there more than previously. i'm pretty sure its not a placebo effect...face, arms, feel light, focus drifts...

has anyone tried this? i suppose it can be potentiated just like any other opiate, right?

  • I know from first-hand experience that 'Lope eases W/D symptoms from Methadone, but does it potentiate Methadone as well?

Or does it do the opposite?

    Or nothing at all?

I like to use deprenyl once in a while and have not been able to find much on the metabolites, l-amphetamine and l-methamphetamine, on pubmed or psychlit (the onlly databases i have access to). Does anyone have access to more chemical oriented databases where this information might be available?

  • anyone have anything more to share on this really good looking drug?

    Lefetamine, 1-dimethylamino-1,2-diphenylethane, SPA, Santenol
    C16H19N

Lefetamine is a psychoactive drug which has effects similar to both morphine and methylphenidate. Due to its chemical structure, it binds to opioid receptors while simultaneously inhibiting reuptake of dopamine and norepinephrine. Lefetamine has the necessary tertiary amine functional group required for opioid receptor recognition, as

  • I followed these exactly but had two issues -

    1. I had to request a new Scriptcase serial number as it said that mine was already used by another server (not really but a simple thing to fix and went through OK).

    2. When I came to restore my backup I could not find it. So I created another and located where it was saved i.e. c:\program files\NetMake\V71\wwwroot\scriptcase\backup. However this folder was deleted automatically by the uninstall process for the previous version

  • Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone, called Sermorelin - may provide a superior product for endogenous production of hGH (your own body’s production of growth hormone). Unlike exogenous (injected) recombinant human growth hormone (rhGH) that causes production of the bioactive hormone IGF-1 from the liver, sermorelin stimulates the patient’s own pituitary gland by binding to specific receptors to increase production and secretion of endogenous hGH.

  • Adderall tolerance (and stimulant tolerance in general) does not work in the same way that other drugs do.
Part of amphetamine (adderall) tolerance is simply due to both mental and physical exhaustion. I.e., a person staying up all night continuously taking doses of amphetamine finds that at 7 am the next day, the dose they just took isn't doing anything. However, cessation of use for a few days (or even a few weeks) usually fixes this problem.

    Long term amphetamine tolerance, h

  • Almost everyone's opinion on using speed/amphetamine/meth is that the best highs were the first two (or three). That is also the case with me.
When I first tried speed I've used very small amount (I'd say it was around 50 mg) of rather pure amphetamine and damn, it was the best day of my life :] I remember that I was euphoric for around 12 hours, I couldn't stop talking, the music sounded extremely well, I was full of motivation and never felt better in my whole life. This is interesting. All done by extracting power from the vacuum of space with a huge di-pole. If this is a true invention then it would fit the bill for the kind of effects that Matthew Delooze talks about with the 2012 logo. It could be a hoax of course because the science of it starts to make sense and then disappears up its own aperture. Here it is - will be interested to hear what everyone thinks.

4.0: Format staple (firebolt, insect swarm, untamed wrath, wolf captain, most of the unique spells). The sort of card you always need to be keeping in mind, or creatures which are so powerful that they warp the meta.

  • Well, my other thread, "Possible Drugs of the Future" turned into mainly a discussion about opioids, mainly the most potent ones...and I must say, it's extremely informative and interesting. But unfortunately, all the other classes of drugs seem to have been looked over.

So, what about stimulants of the future? Are various analogues of amphetamines or other stimulants possible? Could these are qualities that make them more desirable than say cocaine or methamphetamine? E

The use of Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA), commonly known as Ecstasy, is invading American Society and has been for some time now. The language of this may be hard to understand but it is a great article, enjoy!!

THE BIRTH OF A NEW GENERATION

A significant minority of the population only feel truly well on opioids. In effect, they self-medicate, taking responsibility for their own mental health in defiance of medical orthodoxy.

It would indeed be extraordinary if - alone among the neurotransmitter systems of the brain - the endogenous opioid families were immune from dysfunction. E

  • NKTR-192 is Nektar Therapeutics' product candidate for the treatment of moderate to severe acute pain. NKTR-192 is a novel mu-opioid analgesic created using Nektar's advanced polymer conjugation technology to slow drug entry into the central nervous system (CNS). By dramatically slowing the rate of drug entry into the CNS, NKTR-192 is intended to maintain opioid-like efficacy without the abuse potential associated with rapid-acting opioids.

I assume a few of you have heard of Tunnels and Trolls, and maybe a couple of you played it, even though it was shadowed by Dungeons and Dragons. I recently started playing, have a level 5 dwarf wizard (doesn't make much sense in a roleplaying way, but I came up with a little background for him: he's basically an outcast from the dwarven society for casting destructive magic) named Galiot. I found this nifty T&T story, if you want to read it all - it's long!

I have seen people raise questions regarding this combination in conjunction with taking MDMA (the 5-HTP to pre and post-load, and the SSRI as a post-load protective for SERTs). The concern regarding SSRIs + 5-HTP is a rational one, specifically with the idea that serotonin syndrome could potentially resulting from it.

There is very little hard scientific information available (that I am aware of) regarding taking 5-HTP in conjunction with SSRIs. The only reference that I know of is
